A kind message from Christian Corbet

* Dear visual artists, readers, curators: Here are some guidelines about what Christian Corbet cannot do:

1. Due to the sheer volume of requests Mr. Corbet receives, for any and all requests, the office requires a minimum of one week’s advance notice.

2. For many years, Mr. Corbet  has not written quotations for other others. The volume of requests is simply too high.

3. Unfortunately Mr. Corbet cannot write a critique for your art exhibition. 

4. Advice to artists can sometimes be found in Corbet's public posts only.

5. For professional reasons, Mr. Corbet  cannot read unpublished artists statements.

6. Mr. Corbet  already gives to a large number of charities and causes.

7. Mr. Corbet is happy to entertain autographs (and sometimes studio tours) on occasion which requires several weeks  notice and preparation.

Note: For professional reasons, Mr. Corbet does not grant any life praise for a living artist's art works. He views all art as important and thus, if he comments, he will reply only with "Congratulations".
